At ISD Granite we specialize in the custom fabrication of residential countertops and vertical surfaces such as back splashes, shower walls and fireplace surrounds. Once you choose the perfect marble or granite slab from our gallery, we will coordinate the details of your project with our in-house fabrication facility. We have over 15 years of experience catering to the design community.
We begin each project by creating a custom template to ensure the precision of all measurements. At this point we can place the templates on your slab so that you have the opportunity to decide which part of the slab to use for your project. Your favorite parts can be used for more prominent areas, such as the kitchen island. Once you make these decisions, our skilled artisans proceed with the fabrication of your slab.
After fabrication, all work is inspected by quality control. We then load the completed project onto our delivery vehicle securing the pieces on specially designed A-frames for safe transport to your home. Our careful attention to every detail of the process assures you a stress free installation day.

Granite is one of the hardest materials on earth. Granite is composed primarily of quartz, feldspar and mica. Other minerals may be present in the stone creating its unique colors, textures and patterns. Used as a countertop material, it is resistant to scratches, acids, stains and heat. It is long-lasting, durable and available in a wide variety of colors, textures and unique crystal patterns that create a warm and inviting environment for you kitchen or bath. All Quartz countertop materials are made by combining crushed quartz particles with polyester resins hence the name “engineered stone”. The color is uniform throughout the slab.
Marble works beautifully especially in the bath where the veining patterns and colors that appear can be used to create exquisite designs. Marbles are made up of mostly of calcite. Marble is sensitive to acidic foods such as vinegar, lemon, tomatoes, wine, as well as some tile cleaners, mildew removers and other materials commonly found in the kitchen or bath and will dull a polished finish.
We have 8 different edge profiles for you to choose from. They can be viewed in our Edge Profiles page.
Seams are the joints where two pieces of stone meet. We do everything we can to avoid or reduce the number of seams in a job. Then, we do everything we can to make the seams less noticeable. We use an epoxy to glue and seal the seam. We color the epoxy to make it blend with the stone. We also try to match the coloring and patterns of adjacent pieces to detract from the seams.
Absolutely! At ISD Granite, we employ only the best home remodeling experts in the industry. Including our team of licensed plumbers and electricians we will gladly be at your service.
